Little Master Sachin Tendulkar - The Genius

It was the 24th of April in 1973 when someone was born and nobody at that time knew that the one that has born is going to be a masterpiece that the cricket world will ever get. It was the day on which today's God of Cricket born in India in the state of Maharashtra. Well we don't need to explain the achievements this guy has achieved in the last two decades from the cricketing world. Yes, we are talking about the Little Master from India Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. The person whose name is enough for everyone to recognize who this great personality is.

Career in brief of this Champion
Making his test debut against Pakistan in 1989 at the age of just 16, he showed the glimpses of being the best batsman in the future. He has been playing the international cricket for over 20 long years and still has the same attitude as he had before. There seems to be hardly any record that is not on his name. If someone would dare to write the achievements and record of this legend, he/she will surely make a heavy book of that.
Tendulkar scored two centuries against tough side on Australian tour in 1991. He scored three centuries in 1998 when Kangaroos visited the sub-continent. He performed well against the same side in 2001 as well. He got a half century and a century against the Caribbean later in 2002. He hit a double century against the yellow caps at SCG in 2003. He hit a century against Pak. His fifty against Aussies helped the host to grab a win in 2004.His fifty at Perth in 2007 helped the visitor to clinch a win over the home side. In 2008, his century helped the host to achieve a target of over 375 runs in the fourth inning of the test match against the English side. After this, he performed well both at home and away against other test playing nations like NZ, SL, WI, etc. He hit two centuries against Bangladesh in the test series. Later on at home, he hit back to back centuries against SA.
Being at such a high level of this gentleman’s game, this man has never shown any type of insincerity or irresponsible behaviour throughout his long career in the international arena for over 20 long years. This is the reason why he is at the peak of this game and everyone has a faith of respect for him. He has got a long list of records to his name. He is the leading run scorer in both the test and ODI formats. He has got most no. of centuries in both the formats. He was the leading run scores in two world cups. He has played most no. of test match cricket as well as the ODI cricket. He is the only player in the world to have a double century in the ODI format. He has got 99 international centuries to his name.
All these details describe him the class of player he belongs to. Nothing more can be said more about this genius and of course a great person. He has been with the Indian team throughout and has given his best as one could expect from anyone at this level. Though when compared with some other batsman like Dravid and Laxman, he may fall behind them as far as the test saving innings are concerned but one really has to appreciate this phenomenal guy from India. His career has brought many struggles for him as well but he has faced them like a rock-solid and this is the inspiration one gets from this little genius.
